Puppies - Individual or group lessons

I can do a single session to focus on solving common puppy raising challenges, or we can schedule a series of lessons to help you and your dog develop a growing relationship and build a solid foundation of polite and enjoyable manners. Instruction will involve skills and manners listed below that are suitable for the dog's age and training level.

Which is better?

Both, actually. You and your puppy can start group classes as soon as your puppy has been in your home for 10 days and has had at least one set of shots (Dogma) other facilities may require 2 sets. I can jump start your puppy training and socialization before you start classes. The socialization stage of your puppy’s development is 3 to 12 weeks. At 8 to 10 weeks, a puppy can experience real fear involving everyday objects and experiences. During this small window stage, a puppy needs support, positive reinforcement and help to counter fear reactions. This is where I can help you when you first bring your puppy into your home.

Group Classes

I highly recommend you also attend the group puppy classes at

Dogma

Chasin' Tails

The group classes will focus on providing interesting and creative social situations for puppies younger than 20 weeks of age. Your pup will also learn to interact and communicate with other puppies in a controlled off-leash setting during puppy playtime.
